Isamu nodded at Kazuko when he thanked him, his eyes barely leaving Naoko to glance at the Hyuuga. He was quite angry with the girl; she knew what happens when she tried the paralyzing attack. Heck, she had to tell him the first time they met and she was in need of emergency treatment. It had been an awkward meeting, but they had become friends, no matter what she said. Denial was so cute on her in his eyes, but she wasn’t right now. No, her sleeping form was vulnerable looking, all because of that one stupid attack. The medic knew that the Kaiki knew that she needed more training for it before she tried a charge that big for it, but why had she chosen it anyway? He sighed, standing up and walking over to a free bed.
Pulling the covers back with one hand, he gently placed her in the bed, making sure her blankets were still wrapped around her body and covered her with the bed’s sheets. Trailing a large hand down her forehead and towards her cheek, he felt how cold she actually was. It always amazed him, but he wasn’t fazed by it anymore. Hanging his head, Isamu returned to his chair, and leaned back, his head resting against the wall. What a day. He threw Mui a thankful glance as the other medic-nin shut the lights off. Amethyst eyes gazed over the five sleeping bodies in the room before shutting themselves.
Naoko was only half asleep, and she could feel the anger coming off Isamu. She almost gulped, but hadn’t enough energy. She only could barely stay awake, and reality was already slipping. When she felt the bed underneath her instead of the medic’s arms, she let herself drift into the land of dreams.
